While life there is not perfect, it certainly is an adventure. One of the many blessings we’ve been given while living there is the opportunity to pursue our creative sides. My hubby started learning about photography a few years ago, though he’s always been interested since having a shutter-bug father himself.
Well, you guys, he’s seriously talented. His eye for detail and beauty is astounding – especially since he’s such a manly stud! The creative side in him is inspiring. He is graciously offering an 8×12 print of one of his best photos from our time here in the states. The columbine is the state flower of Colorado. I had never seen one in person before until we went to a little town called Ouray a couple of weeks ago. Wow.
One luck winner will receive a copy of this breathtaking photo. Just click the link below and you’ll be taken to a Raffelcopter form.

There have been several times in my life during which I’ve felt particularly useless.
Times when life seemed to be not only lacking opportunities to use my gifts and talents, but almost seems to be deliberately blocking the use of them.
I feel these times more acutely as a mother than another other time of my life thus far.
On a recent road trip with my family, I saw something that spoke to my heart and was such an encouragement to me for those times when I feel particularly useless. I’m sharing my thoughts over at The Better Mom today, and I’d love to have you come join me!
